2010 Tour Season Begins May 4th

April 22, 2010

Welcome Back
After a refreshing winter’s nap, Ten Chimneys will welcome tour guests once again beginning Tuesday, May 4. Two special events will usher in the new season:

Taming of the Shrew
Play Reading, Presented by goats & monkeys
Friday, April 30 at 7:30 p.m.

Join us in the Lunt-Fontanne Program Center for a free reading of Taming of the Shrew by our friends at goats & monkeys, the theater cooperative formed by former members of Milwaukee Shakespeare. This book-in-hand staging celebrates the 75th anniversary of Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne’s performances in the play. It was this production that famously inspired Cole Porter’s beloved musical, Kiss Me, Kate. Tickets are free for this reading, but space is limited so reservations are recommended. To reserve your seats, call (262) 968-4110.
