2008 Volunteer Picnic - July 27th

June 20, 2008

You and your guests are invited to attend our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic on Sunday, July 27th from Noon to 3pm on the lovely grounds of Ten Chimneys.

Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and pick a spot on the grass. A Picnic Lunch will be served at 12:30pm. You are welcome to bring something to add to the spread. Prizes will be raffled off at 1:30pm, so make sure you fill out an entry! Throughout the afternoon, you will be treated to nostalgic music by Nick Contorno & The Big Top Brass.

And a very special treat… You will be welcome to take a rare dip in The Lunts’ Pool! Bring your suit and towel! For one day only, we’ll fill the pool (and watch it slowly drain). You’ll be able to say you were in the same pool as Larry Olivier or Vivien Leigh (your choice).

Darling, no lifeguard will be present; bathers do so at their own risk. “His” and “Hers” changing tents will be available. No Noël-Coward-impersonations permitted (if you know what we mean)! Guests preferring to remain in picnic clothes are welcome to sit poolside and dangle their toes. Upon arriving, please park at the Program Center and walk to the estate grounds. Historic buildings will not be open during this event. If weather is uncooperative, festivities will be moved to the Program Center. See you on the 27th of July!

RSVP before July 19th by leaving a message at (262)968-4161 ext.937
