SHUTTLE DRIVER
Ten Chimneys Foundation seeks a part-time, seasonal individual to provide Estate Tour guests with smooth and friendly transport along the modest distance between the Program Center and the Historic Estate. Shuttle Drivers also help guests in and out of the shuttle, and stay in continual contact with the Tour Assistant via walkie-talkie. As needed, Shuttle Drivers provide general support to the Tour Department. Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent driving record are critical, as is punctuality. This is a fun position for an educator, student, or retiree with a flexible schedule. Seasonal staff members often return year after year.
Seasonal, Part-Time, Hourly Position. This position covers 9am-6pm shifts 2-3 days per week from May through November, Tuesday through Sunday. Weekend availability strongly preferred.
SEASONAL RESERVATIONIST
Ten Chimneys Foundation seeks a part-time, seasonal individual to provide comprehensive, gracious tour and program scheduling for prospective guests of Ten Chimneys. Because of the highly public nature of this position, a warm, gracious personality, excellent customer service skills, and a positive attitude are essential. A familiarity with Vista database and ticketing systems (or a comfort level in navigating a new system) is preferred.
Seasonal, Part-time, Hourly Position – Open Immediately. This position covers 9am-5pm shifts 5 days per week from April through November. Saturday and Monday availability are a must; Sunday availability is strongly preferred. Start and end dates may be negotiable for the right candidate.
TOUR ASSISTANT
Ten Chimneys Foundation seeks a part-time, seasonal individual to assist in tour operations. Because of the highly public nature of this position, a warm, gracious personality and positive attitude are essential. The Tour Assistant expertly manages the flow of the tour schedule, including checking-in docents and shadows, keeping in contact with the front desk regarding guest issues, communicating with the shuttle drivers, and gathering together guests for their tours at the appropriate time.
Seasonal, Part-time, Hourly Position. This position covers the hours of tour operation, beginning one hour prior to the start of the first tour of the day, and ending after the final tour of the day has been called, generally 9:00 am-3:00 pm. This position runs from May through November; Sunday availability is strongly preferred.
