Save the Date | 2015 Spring & Summer Programs at Ten Chimneys

OUR 2015 TOUR SEASON

Tours run April 14th - November 29th  | Tuesday - Sunday

Prior to beginning their tour, guests to Ten Chimneys spend time in our stunning Lunt-Fontanne Program Center (open to the public free of charge during regular tour season hours). Do stop in and visit our permanent exhibition, Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne: A Life on Stage, view items from the Lunts' collection, or relax and view the Lunts' one film together, The Guardman, in our viewing room. Care to do a little shopping? The Museum Store at Ten Chimneys is filled with items that are simply delightful.

THE CHAMPAGNE & CANAPÉ TOUR

Introduced last season, this tour was a smashing success. Guests indulge in champagne and canapés on the Cottage porch after completing the Full Estate Tour. It's so very Lunt-like, don't you think? Advanced reservations are required. Please allow two and a half hours for this tour.

A CONVERSATION AT TEN CHIMNEYS WITH JOHN ERMAN

Saturday, May 16th | 7pm

Remember the days of Dr. Michael Rossi and Catherine Peyton of the series whose title became synonymous with “drama” … Peyton Place? Or perhaps you recall rushing home from school to catch the latest antics of the novice nun Sister Bertrille as she exasperated her Mother Superior while flying around in her habit in The Flying Nun? And who didn’t wish they were related to the unpredictable and hilarious Uncle Martin in the beloved My Favorite Martian? Stories of these classic TV episodes and more will be part of our Conversation with television and film director John Erman.

Mr. John Erman will begin the evening with an overview of the history of American theatre, including The Fabulous Lunts and the role they played in advancing theatre on the American stage. Mr. Erman will then sit down for an intimate conversation reminiscing on his long and successful career directing the crème-de-la-crème of Hollywood.

Mr. Erman is an Emmy Award-winning television and film director, actor and producer. He directed the miniseries Roots, as well as numerous hit primetime television series, including Peyton Place, The Fugitive, The Outer Limits, Stoney Burke, Ben Casey, My Favorite Martian, That Girl, The Flying Nun, Marcus Welby, M.D., Star Trek, and many others.
