Suzanne Grodner has been a professional actor since 1983, when she received her MFA from Florida State University/ Asolo Conservatory. Her body of work ranges from Broadway to Off-Broadway to National and International Tours, and she has performed 80+ roles in over 35 Regional Theatres across the country.
Suzanne's artistic collaboration with Asolo Rep spans 40+ years, 10 seasons and 18 productions, including; Tartuffe, Silent Sky, Grand Horizons, The Plexiglass Slipper, Broadway Bound, Nunsense and most recently, The Mirror Crack'd.
Her many Regional Theatre collaborations include The Old Globe, Cincinnati Playhouse, Cleveland Playhouse,
TheatreWorks/Silicon Valley (16 Productions and New Works Festivals), Indiana Rep, Syracuse Stage, Alabama Shakespeare Festival, Actor's Theatre of Louisville and Papermill Playhouse, among others, with roles including Sonia in Vanya&Sonia&Masha&Spike, Dorine in Tartuffe, Annie Cannon in Silent Sky, Dr. Gorgeous in The Sisters Rosenswieg, Mrs. Frank in Diary of Anne Frank, Fraulin Schneider in Cabaret, Miss Prism in Importance of Being Earnest, Miss Bates in Jane Austen's, Emma and Miss Marple in The Mirror Crack'd.
Suzanne is an Audition Coach for young actors, and has been in the classroom sharing her audition techniques with high school and college students around the country.
Suzanne thanks Peter Rothstein and the entire company and staff at Asolo Rep for selecting her to represent their Theatre, and is profoundly honored to join the many actors from around the country to receive the Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship from Ten Chimneys.
