The Story Comes Home on November 29, 2026

Wisconsin Premiere: The First Since the New York Premiere
For the first time since its world premiere in New York City, the acclaimed documentary This Place Matters! Ten Chimneys returns home for a very special screening at the National Historic Landmark it celebrates-TEN CHIMNEYS.
More than the story of a remarkable estate, This Place Matters! Ten Chimneys is a tribute to Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, the legendary couple who shaped American theater and created a haven where artists gathered to learn, collaborate, and create. Featuring many of the nation's most respected actors and narrated by Lunt-Fontanne Fellow Sharon Lawrence, the film explores how the legacy of the "summer home of the American theater" continues to inspire generations today.
Following the screening, guests are encouraged to discuss the documentary, ask questions, and share their thoughts and reflections on this remarkable place.
