Our Lunt-Fontanne Fellows Will Be Arriving at Ten Chimneys Soon!

The Fellows will be joining us on July 20, 2025! Ten Chimneys is once again opening its doors to welcome ten regional actors from across the United States to immerse themselves in an eight-day retreat with four-time academy award nominee and two-time Golden Globe winner, Marsha Mason as the 2025 Lunt-Fontanne Master Teacher.

WITH Marsha Mason as the 2025 Lunt-Fontanne Master Teacher
The Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program is a groundbreaking national program to serve American theater. Every year, 10 of the most accomplished regional theater actors in the country are invited to participate in a weeklong master class and retreat with a world-renowned and respected Master Teacher. The 8-day immersion at Ten Chimneys includes intensive daily master class sessions, both in the historic rooms of the estate and in the modern facilities of the Program Center.
The content and structure of the daily master class activities are shaped by the expertise of Master Teacher, Marsha Mason. The Fellows and Marsha will be working with The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekov throughout the week and how it lends itself as a backdrop to a contemporary play about many issues we are facing in today’s world. The Fellows also spend time exploring the historic estate and grounds, find time to take a dip in the pool, rejuvenate, and work with each other between master classes, taking in the extraordinary spirit and inspiration that is Ten Chimneys.
There will be two public events at the end of the week:
Friday, July 25, at 7 p.m. A Conversation with Master Teacher Marsha Mason
Saturday, July 26, at 7 p.m. The Concluding Presentation with Master Teacher, Marsha Mason, and all the Fellows performing scenes from The Cherry Orchard
